Selected builds

Over the past 10 years, I've had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that have challenged me to grow as a developer and problem-solver.

/global-email-framework

Global Email Framework

The GEF v3 was a full revamp of the existing email infrastructure. The system was handling patch over patch of enhancements since a previous ESP, inheriting a lot of mixed practices, ways of work, naming conventions, etc. The GEF proposal and approach integrated all the requirements from the actual users of the platform and provided a single, highly opionionated interfase in order to centralize, coordinate and structure the work of over 40 stakeholders accross a dozen countries, leaving room for perzonalization and flexibilities required from a local-first market standpoint.

/fast-dc

FAST DC

As the team grew, we needed a solution to handle iterative work in a more efficient manner. The FAST DC (or Fast Deployment Consultant) was a concept that later evolved into an actual product. As DCs we were in charge of the briefing, preparation, QA abnd deplyoment of marketing campaings, basically, the full lifecycle. The FAST DC standarized all common practices and helped identify issues with namings, data disparity or missing trackers. The result? An absolute win for the full team.

/xcribo

Xcribo

The Xcribo website was a single PHP file handling pretty much everything: the login, registration, actual process of the data, etc. I turned it into an actual product with a modern architecture and improved user experience but also keeping the scale to a reasonable, deployable level.

Case studies

A display of how I think and solve problems. A little bit of architecting and some step by step solutioning.

/ip-warming

IP Warming: disecting a complex process into scalable, idempotent stages

An IP Warming is a mandatory step when migrating to a new ESP. The correct rollout and rollback of this could lead to a clean, legal and excellent IP reputation from the get go, or get you into a lot of headaches. Here I explain how to provide an agnostic, highly structured process that can be adjusted to every ESP.

/duplicate-merge

Duplicate merge: source pick, freshness of data, SFMC case

Why the write path was modeled as a local event log first, with sync treated as an eventually-consistent side effect rather than the source of truth.
